Oscar Restaurant, Urb Maryvilla 28, Calpe, 03710, Alicante, Spain. Family restaurant started in 1970 and nowadays managed by its founders children.  With their young but professional team, they have made some impressive changes, both in the cuisine and in the surroundings.  Respecting traditional Mediterranean cooking methods, they also introduce designer dishes which excel in composition and presentation. The three course daily menu with several choices for each course is a revelation and offers incredible value for money.

Oscars Named after the owner and his son this restaurant is only open through the summer months, such a shame as this has excellent food served by Oscar and his attentive staff. So pay him a visit from march through October inside or out seating is comfortable. Located on Maryvilla.

The varied bodega is continually updated.  Parties from 12 up to 150 guests are welcome and they also offer a complete catering service.  Very friendly service in a pleasant and relaxed setting.  Closed Tuesdays and throughout November.

Follow the numerous signs marked "Tennis Restaurant Oscar".   An ideal place to spend a few hours, as there’s a huge pool as well as the tennis courts plus sun loungers and a pool table.  The view is spectacular and the food is excellent, as is the service.  If you have the set menu you can have 3 courses plus wine and beer for under  €25 per head.  The kitchen shuts at 3.00 on a Sunday.  There are barbecues  and "carne a la brasa" most evenings - order the day before if you want a paella.
